Accomplishments for Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2011

  • Saved over 97 lives.
  • Responded to over 1,200 emergency calls.
  • Trained over 275 individuals in life-saving CPR / First Aid skills
  • Trained over 150 students in EMT classes at our Deborah Crawford EMS Training Academy
  • Enrolled 4 Haitian-American docturs in our EMT classes to preare them to return to Haiti and train Haitians in emergency medical care as part of BSVAC's effort to help Haiti set up its own EMS (Emergency Medical Services) system.

Objectives for Fiscal Year Beginning January 1, 2011

  • Offer at least 8 new EMT classes
  • Train at least 200 individuals in life-saving CPR / First Aid
  • Obtain at least one new ambulance
