Ambulance Dedication

BSVAC honored Tamsin Wolf for her many years of service on February 19, 2007 at the dedication of an ambulance.  The ambulance had been donated by Sullivan County Volunteer Ambulance Corps.  It was assigned the call name “TWOLF” in honor of Tamsin Wolf who serves as First Vice President and General Counsel of BSVAC.

Tamsin’s involvement with BSVAC began in 1988, when she incorporated the organization as a not-for-profit New York corporation and secured federal tax-exemption.  She has continued to help BSVAC over the years, providing generous financial support, serving on the Board of Directors and handling ongoing compliance matters.  Tamsin has also spearheaded the effort to secure the NYC funding allocated for the purchase of a new trailer through Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz.

Tamsin’s commitment to BSVAC is shared by her husband Bob and her children, Shira and Yitzi, all of whom attended the dedication ceremony.  Last year, Yitzi and Shira raised over $600 for BSVAC (through a lemonade stand and personal collections) and were honored by BSVAC for Contribution of the Year.
